anyone know where i should start if i want to get involved with currency exchange, forex?

i want to start trading in the currency market, i have looked at it before but didnt know where to start. does anyone know any websites that i should look at that will give me some good unbiased information on it. I am interested in doing short term trading.

1. First, you should decide on the absolute maximum amount of money you could tolerate losing whilst trading currencies, and write that number down on a piece of paper. Then take that amount of cash and give it to a homeless person.... Unless you are selling "Guaranteed Winning Forex Trading Systems!" to suckers just like you, you cannot make money in Forex....

4. Hussein, I found a list of US foreign currency exchanges. http://www.whatisforextrading.com Try visiting one of them and see if they have a representative that can assist you.
5. There are lots of free ebooks on the internet that will teach you the basics. I am reading one I got for free at the site listed below, it has 141 pages and is really good. Best of luck to both of us, I am starting too.
